I am in the process of scoping out some custom module development for a client. The functionality that is required is the ability to manage volunteer registrations for multiple events. All of your basic notifications are needed, a cap on the # of people registered per day needs to be set, users would see some sort of calendar show when people are needed, and can click on that date to sign up, reporting, etc....

i'm fine building this myself, but as a service to my client, i wanted to see if their was an existing module that could jump start this development, reducing their cost. I did some google searching, and hit all of the main module sites, but didn't come up with anything.

Do any of you know of a module like this? Something i could extend to meet my needs?

thanks in advance!

some of your needs might be covered by the Events module and AFAIK there are 3rd party modules with bookable calendars as well, just have a look at www.snowcovered.com.
