As a RSS Feed for the module News Feeds (RSS) we selected the following XML file:

    <htmltext>
        <desktophtml>
            Nieuwsitem1
        </desktophtml>
        <desktopsummary>

        </desktopsummary>
    </htmltext>

The generated code is as follows:

<a href="/gedragswerk/Default.aspx?tabid=58">Nieuwsitem1</a>

What we see in the web page is the following:
Nieuwsitem1

We want the above string to be correctly interpreted in XHTML as in: <a href=" ...etc.

Besides this we did change the DOCTYPE to transitional XHTML.

Many thanks in advance for the response.

Kind regards,
Jos Walrave

did you have any reason for posting this in the "Developing The Announcement module" forum?

you are reporting an issue about the rss feed of the HTML module, and, RSS feeds are generated by the core, not by modules (with the exception of blog and forums). If you dont mind I will move this thread
