Filter UDT data ?
 
Is it possible to have a UDT displaying filtered results of another UDT ?
I have a list of events of differing types and would like one instance of a UDT with all data listed and other UDT instances showing selected portions of this data.
I know I can do this manually via the export but my main list is user editable and I need edits to the "parent" UDT to be carried over into other instances.
 
I think the answer may well be no but would this not be a very useful feature ?

I will have a look at the xsl and/or wait for the next release.  I have to admit that my previous attempts at modifying existing UDT XSL have not been a success.
Are there any good tutorials you can recommend or better still any more example UDT XSL we can learn from?

The problem for me and I suspect many other non-programmers using DNN is that learning to write XSL is not high on our lists - I am currently spending all my "learning time" on SQL but with a few UDT examples to base experiments on it all gets a lot easier.
For example - I have also wanted to be able to do this on many occasions.

Date	Name	Email	Other	Spare
Descriptive text that users write far too much of so as to make any datagrid display look stupid as it displays a row of 5 one word items and the Description text as a 10 row block, 100px wide. Example : http://www.rsrnyc.co.uk/PublicPages/CrewRegister/tabid/54/Default.aspx  (new window)
