So it appears the RSS feed from the Root blog contains all the child entries and none of its own. Maybe if you have child blogs, you are not supposed to have entries in the Root category?

I also see that I had Time Zone errors in the Root vs the Child blogs. The child blogs were set one hour into the future so that when I made entries, they would not show up for one hour. And whenever I checked the blog (root) settings, the time was set correctly. That was freaking me out.

i just realised i am experiencing the same issue.  i was posting blog entries at the root, until today, i decided to create a child blog. now my RSS only shows 1 entry (from the child blog).

i'm sure this issue will be fixed in due time. in the mean time, i guess i will try a workaround by syndicating an Announcements module. hopefully it can mimic closely the RSS that the blog entry would produce.

hope to see an update soon.

i decided not to do my suggested workaround because it would have taken too much effort to maintain. instead, i placed all my postings into child blogs, and then syndicate all of them. now the RSS shows up all postings; which is my main aim anyway.
