Can you provide some extra information, e.g. what version of DNN you are using....

Cheers
Roger

This was a fresh install of Windows 2000 server, MS SQL 2000 server, DNN 4.0.2. Both NOS and SQL are up pathced to date.

Of note is that I have had a nuber of issues with this fresh install. It looks as if issues where worked out for an update. It would be nice if someone would flatten a system, and install it on a fresh system.

bsmithline,

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

To all others who will hopefully read this, I have edited web.config and removed the entries for SQL Server 2005 Express, but am getting the following error (pretty much identical to what bsmithline got):

Server Error in '/DOTNETNUKE' Application.

Configuration Error

Thanks for any and all assistance.
