Hi!

I am very much intereseted on DNN. So, I have downloaded the DNN new version 4.0.3 of Install version, couple of days back. Now I am trying to install the DNN I am not able do that!

Can any one help me out how to install and start developing the web application?

Okay, I've read through the documentation.  Great. Fine. Dandy.

I still have yet to get a single instance of DNN 4.x up and running.  3.x.x I can get up and running in less than 2 minutes, but 4.x is probably one of the most god aweful things I've had to deal with as far as installation.

Assuming that I'm not a developer, and that I don't have visual studio, how would I install this application to a virtual directory?  Why aren't there simple, easy to follow guidelines for newbies?  Searches and Googles turn up a lot of "how do I?" but no "here's how to..".

3.X.X = a little rough, but really well done.

4.X.X = can't get past the arduous installation process.

I have installed DNN 4.x successfully!

I had got the one of the installation guide windoes media file from the DNN site, which was quite helpfull for me to install DNN 4.x.
