This DNN site consists of a parent site and numerous child sites for various facilities.

First of all, when I search for certain terms on the parent site that should return results from various child site pages, it does not. Searching seemed to be confined to the site I am currently in, whether it is the parent site or one of the facility child sites. Search on the parent site only returns results from the parent site. Searching on a child site only returns results from that child site.

This behavior makes sense on the child sites, but not on the parent... if there is a way to expand the search scope to include child sites, I'm not seeing it.

Second issue: some pages are not showing up in the search results, even though said pages are *all about* that search term. Indexing is turned on, the keywords are all over that page, yet they do not appear in the search results.

This is one of the child sites. Search for "assisted living", with or without quotes. I would think that the Assisted Living page of this site would be the first result returned, yet is not even included in the results.
