Hi from down under,
today I signed up for windows Azure and tried to set up Dotnetnuke from there app Gallery.
I created a database as part of following the setup Wizard which I assume is part of Windows Azure with no problems, however, when it came to the Dotnetnuke version 7 installation screen I was unable to connect to the database using either the integrated security or custom security.
I am using the server name provided with the Azure account:
.\oxf5mc9xe7.database.windows.net followed by database name,
I have also tried just .\oxf5mc9xe7 for the server name but I am unable to connect to the database.
I have done this many times before but not on Windows Azure.
This is the error that is returned:
ERROR:Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 20
Number: -1
Message:
any help would be greatly appreciated on this matter
with anticipation
regards
Trevor
