Hi to everybody,
I am still looking for an answer to the question I posted a few days ago about the problems that I am having with the links to child pages from the main menu.
I can say with confidence that this is a skin problem but I have not found any reason why this would suddenly appear to be a problem on a website that was functioning normally for about eight months.
If somebody could help me understand how a skin can stop the main menu child pages (links) from functioning I would greatly appreciate it.
I'll outline the problems I'm having again:
| Articles of Interest| |Contact Us| (all main menu links work fine)eg.
-- Article 1. (This link works okay)
-- Article 2. (This link works okay)
-- Article 3. (This link is non-responsive)
-- Article 4. (This link works okay)
If anyone is unsure of what I am getting at please visit my website at http://forrestministries.com and view the links under the "Articles of Interest" main menu item.
If you use the drop-down list of articles and choose the link to "Paul's letter to Rome" or the link to "Who am I and why do I exist" you will notice that these two links are dead while the rest are working properly.
I know this is a technical problem but it should have a solution and I need some guidance on how a skin can generate this sort of error.
This is all part of my learning curve and I do appreciate every suggestions put forward and will try out any work around suggested. However, as my understanding of the inner workings of Dotnetnuke is not yet complete it would be of great benefit for me to learn why this error has occurred.
Again, thanks in anticipation
regards
Trevor
