Hi,

I have created vanity url in Host Settings -> Advanced settings and I want to achieve this:

I want to point people to: http://mysite.com/basicstuff 

I want the underlying URL to be http://mysite.com/genericpage/tabid/23/page.aspx

I don't want the URL to redirect. I want the user to see http://mysite.com/basicstuff only.

But when i type in friendly url that i have created in the broswer I am redirected to underlying URL and that's what shows up in address bar. Is there any workaround for this problem as I want the friendly url to show in address bar once the page is loaded.

Any help would be appreciated.
