Groups

Groups feature in Evoq

Create public or private areas for members to collaborate.

There are times when a subset of members want to dig deeper into a particular topic. Groups allow members to organize focused areas of conversation, while keeping the main content areas relevant to the wider community.

The result? Satisfied members who return often to a unique group they can't find elsewhere.

More Focused Engagement

By joining Groups, community members are more likely to discover others who share their interests, which focuses their engagement and makes their experience more valuable and rewarding.

Facilitate Private Conversation

For occasions when confidential communications are required by a subset of the community, private Groups can restrict access to a particular set of users.

How to Access

The Groups feature surfaces in two modules: Group Spaces and Group Directory. Group Directory allows groups to be searched, created, tagged, moderated and managed. Group Spaces provide the "homepage" for each group.

Groups Administration

Groups can be configured as public, private (password-protected) and secret. Gaining access to a secret group requires an invitation from a community manager. Within each group, a community manager determines the community features to enable (e.g. Ideas, Answers, Events, etc.) and which area to designate as the "Group Home Page."

Create opportunities for focused collaboration.

All of Evoq's community features are available within groups. Enable members to collaborate around focused topic areas.
