Taxonomy Management

taxonomy - create new vocabulary

Classify and categorize all of your site's content.

With Evoq's taxonomy management, you create categories (known as a "vocabulary") to classify the content on your site.

For a B2B website, a simple vocabulary can be created for "Department" to associate the author of each page (e.g. Marketing, Engineering, Customer Support).

Vocabularies are flat or hierarchical and can be applied to a module or to an entire site. Vocabularies come into play during the content authoring process: a CMS author can select the vocabularies associated with each page.

Benefits

More Relevant Content

By using taxonomy management to categorize the content of your site, you can present visitors with more relevant content. In addition, taxonomies help with intelligent re-use of content across additional channels.

user satisfaction

More Effective Personalization

With content categorized within a taxonomy, you can create more meaningful personalization for visitors. For instance, users visiting a page on high-definition televisions can be presented with related content categorized to that same topic.
