I'm still a little frustrated with implementing AD and DNN. I've followed every instruction I could find...and some that I didn't find!

Here's where I'm at now. I've added the <identity impersonate="true" /> to the web config and uncommented the <authentication mode="windows" /> entry in the web.config file. Theoretically , that is all you need. HOWEVER, DotNetNuke calls the database via global.asax.vb to check the database for syncronization and globals. This call is made using the ASP.NET worker service account. We have used a service account to run the ASP.NET worker service which is appearing in the "Login failed for user: DOMAIN/ServiceAccount" error message.

I **CANNOT** figure out how to use AD and impersonation to -NOT- use that service account but the logged in user. It appears that IIS processed the global.asax before it get the web.config.

Is this a configuration issue or something else? Can someone please provide some insight? Please, this is getting urgent for me!

TIA,

 - Todd
