How do you make the start time optional in the latest version of the Events module?

By definition, an event in this module requires a start time be entered...the module is very dependent on Event Times and Dates, since it designed to handle multiple timezones, translations, and eventually integrate w/other Event Calendars (i.e. Outlook).  I believe if you are looking for a Date Only module, you could build this a lot easier.

For most events I would utilize a start time, but there are times that I would prefer a start time not be displayed.  Is there a way to optionally display a start time for certain events?

On the version I am working on, displaying Start Time is optional on the "List" view.  It is not displayed on the "Month" view.  Of course it is displayed on the "Week" view.  On all views, the floating popup may optionally be displayed and includes the start/end date/time.  It will be required on the Edit Events and be displayed on the Event Detail form...at some point in the future, we may consider other options.   Maybe you could present a "use case" or scenerio where an event time would not be important?  This would help convince us...
