Has anyone taken advantage of this and installed any of the modules under DNN 4.4.1?  Just wondering if this is a good deal or not and of course if they work.

Thanks

I did buy this promotional license suite.  It is a decent deal and yes the main modules work on 4.4.1   A couple are not yet upgraded to support it.  The vendors seem to be upgrading the modules and they are available via the Flatburger download page.  It's a great way to fully test some top DNN tools.

I use them on an enterprise site.  You can activate as many licenses of each product as you want.

Proceed with care - when logged in as host I uploaded a 3rd party module from the Flatburger promotion ("User Attributes" by UCanUse) to my DNN 4.3.5 installation. The upload seemed to go fine (I got a 'EndJob Installation successful.' message). However whenever I then navigated to any page I immediately got (and continue to get) a error - visit this page to see it in action. My site is now completely hosed. Am trying to resolve it. Will keep you posted.

I believe they expire after 1 year though so they get you on a maintenance plan to keep your site going.

eoghano,

that looks like a code access security issue. Most shared hosts operate in medium trust, and that error looks like your sites running in medium trust, but that module requires full trust. You could try changing the trust setting in your web.config to full i.e.

<trust level="Full" originUrl="" />

but, most hosts don't allow users to override their trust setting. I would guess that this host should be serving that file from the GAC, but have mistakenly installed it into your bin folder (or else flatburger/ucanuse didn't inform them it required full trust) .I would recommend deleting the dll's from the bin folder, and hopefully the module instance will load with an error about the missing files, and then you can delete the module instance and uninstall it.
