I have been trying to use the recurring events feature but I am having a few problems.  For example:   I create an event that is supposed to occur on the first Monday of every month.  The event shows up on my Feb monthly view on Feb 5 and I can also see it on Mar 5 (as part of the next month's days).  If I change the monthly display to show Mar, the event is not displayed.  I can also change to any other month in the year and it does not appear.  I set the recurring end date to next Jan (2008).   What is even stranger is that I can display Dec 2007 and it will show up on the monthly view, but no other months except the first month and the last month will show the event.  If I display a list of events then all the events (one for each month) show up in the list.

I'm trying to use this for a church web site and the recurring events are very important for me.  I'm currently running DNN v3.3.5, with the new beta Events module v03.03.00 I downloaded yesterday.  I had similar problems with the recurring events on the previous version and was glad to see the upgrade.  The problems now are fewer but still make the recurring events unusable for me.  I hope you can find some time to look into this problem.

Thanks for all your hard work.  It's great to see that you are back in the saddle.

David

On further usage, I noted that the Event List module settings are being written back to the Module Settings table, but are not being read in LoadSettings. Instead they are being reset to the defaults. Then, when ModuleSettings are updated for any other change, the incorrect defaults are written back to ModuleSettings. Same problem, I believe, with the right hand list box of displayed columns which will combine both the default columns and those selected previously to result in columns 1 and 2 being included more than once in the list box (but not in the actual rendering of the Event List.

I also noted that when setting up a recurring event to repeat weekly, the event repeats are displayed (in month calendar view) only for the month in which they were created, not in following months even when the Recurrance End Date has been set several months into the future. As David indicated above, I, too, am using this module primarily for a church website so the recurring event function is very important.

I just installed the latest beta and cannot add a new event. When I select add event, I get a blank screen with no editor or options.  No error either.  Any ideas of what I need to check?
