I just uploaded the Private Assembly version of the Events Module 03.03.00 Beta....please download it from the Project Files area and kick the tires...we plan on thoroughly testing this one.  If you have issues, please report on this thread, so that others can benefit.  Also, if you have questions, look at the readme (included) and post to this thread.  I plan on testing this thing hard over the next few weeks...Don't ask for the source code yet.  It will be released, but only after thorough testing...and through the official DNN Module Release process.

Please email me privately, if you wish to participate in the Beta for the Events Module.

After installing the Events beta PA on a fresh DNN 4.4 install I see that the necessary images have not been installed. Now that the Events module is not installed by default in DNN 4.4, I guess the PA needs to install them. You can see it at this location.

Looks like it...its called the "smallcalendar.gif"...I had assumed is was in the /images directory and installed by the Core.  I guess I was wrong...thanks.

Hi Alan, here is what I have seen after using the module for a few hours (New install, not upgrade):

  • Not getting Reminder/Event Notifications
  • When Send Reminder = True -> Clicking on event title is not going to detail view for event. (Thus I cannot edit it at this point)
  • Confirmed Image issue.
  • When using apostrophes in Notes field of event, not displaying in tooltip.

Dagg...the devil is in the details.  I forgot to add to the package a couple of stored procedures required for the Notifications to work.  Also, fixed the image issue...I'll have to look and see what's up w/the apostrophe.
