Great job!  4.4.1 is much faster loading then before (4.3.7).  Pages are instant after site load and loading the site from an idle state is about half the time then it used to be.  It's the first time I've upgraded a DNN install and it went smooth with no errors or problems.  I appreciate all the work that has gone into the whole project and the refinements in this version are top notch!  Thanks again!

Did you go straight from 4.3.7 to 4.4.1? I have several 437 versions that I am ready to upgrade to 441, but wanted to see if it was a direct upgrade or if I needed to go from 437 to 440 to 441. Thanks.

The way the upgrade process works, you should be able to upgrade to 4.4.1 from any dnn version (not including dnn1)  just by getting the lastest upgrade.

I agree, the upgrade process and the end result of 4.4.1 is amazing.  I did an upgrade from 4.3.5 and am very happy.

I read the majority of the speed improvement came from not installing many modules from the core.    A core team blog said tests were not performed with all modules installed.   So.. I assume if your site uses a majority of the core modules the improvement will decrease as you use more core modules...

I realize there were other logic efficiency improvements but I read that was more related to administrative functions.

Anyone have 4.4.1 with all the core modules installed?
