I am building one simple module (name is BKBook) for DotNetNuke. I use module template of DotNetNuke with 3 controls : View control (ViewBKBook.ascx) , Edit control (EditBKBook.ascx) and Settings control (Settings.ascx) and build my own control ( DetailsBKBook.ascx) . The View control combines a DataList control that displays all items and when I click a pencil icon beside any item, the Edit control shows. I see that there is an hyperlink for each item in DataList :

 <asp:HyperLink ID="HyperLink1" NavigateUrl='<%# EditURL("ItemID",DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem,"ItemID")) %>' Visible="<%# IsEditable %>" runat="server"><asp:Image ID="Image1" Runat=server ImageUrl="~/images/edit.gif" AlternateText="Edit" Visible="<%#IsEditable%>" resourcekey="Edit"/></asp:hyperlink>

But I want when I click a pencil icon, DetailsBKBook.ascx shows. How can I edit this  hyperlink ?

Depends on how you want to show your DetailsBKBook.ascx. In Editmode or in Viewmode?

In Editmode you change EditURL to call your own methot MyEditURL. In this method you redirect to Response.Redirect(EditURL("", "", "DetailsBKBook"))

In Viewmode you can add DetailsBKBook inside a hidden panel. Then in MyEditURL you set the panel to visible.
