I have successfully figured out how to make the feedback post and everything but what I am trying to do is make each of my pages display different feedback based on the page....so i have categories like:

lesson 1
lesson 2
lesson 3
etc...

so i only want the feedback posted on the lesson 1 page to show on the lesson one page...but when i select the lesson 1 category under the comment view module it does not save it...it always comes back as "none specified"

any ideas?

i am on a big deadline so please please please help...

Take a look at the values in your modulesettings table (via Enterprise Manager) and confirm whether the Category setting has a value. My suspicion is that you have caching turned on and it's not showing the current category because of that.

um...i turned caching on and off again and as well cleared the cache to no avail...as far as the enterprise manager I am not really sure what you are talking about...I searched the site and the internet for the location of the enterprise manager and did not find any articles about it... perhaps you misunderstood my problem... the view comments module does not keep the setting of which category i select...no matter what it always says none selected no matter how many times I update it...but the categories do show up and the feedback from the post feedback module are retaining the category and are showing up with the category... /shrug

With Enterprise Manager, I meant the tool that comes with SQL Server - ie run a query against your ModuleSettings table to see whether the Category is getting saved or not. My suspicion is that your category is not getting saved to the table and that's why it's loading all the feedbacks instead of the specific one...
Are you hosting this by yourself or on an ISP? Do you have access to your database to check the values from a table?

My site is being hosted via godaddy.com... I have a web access tool through them to be able to view and edit the SQL tables....so if you would tell me what table to look in and what for what values hopefully we can figure this out
