Hello Projet,

Are you using SQL Server 2005 Express or SQL Server 2000/2005?

Can you also post what you have in web.config for your connectionstring.

You will want to make sure that your username and password for your database connection are correct.  Try logging into SQL Management Studio with the information in your web.config as that is an easy way to test.

please read the error message carefully:

"SqlDataProviderSystem.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot open user default database. Login failed."

enter SQL Server configuration, go to server security and select the user login. set dnn6 as default database and make sure, the dnnuser6 has sufficient permission (owner).
