Boy do I know and FEEL THAT one! Being both a designer and a jr. developer I feel a conflict inside me, something to the effect of a star wars movie.... I digress...
Two questions Jon regarding clientapi if possible -
1. With bare changes in my web.config file trusting the performance settings were legit, I feel like the online process of editing/configuring,etc my dnn app is slllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. Is there any changes I can make on the backend to assist a faster relay? IIS 6.0/server 2003.
I don't think this makes a difference, but my dnn is in c:drive, websites sitting in E:drive, does this make any hoo-haa difference?
2. I have over 20 pre-designed websites running on my server, I would like to add DNN to them, do I have to start from scratch? I create with CSS and Divs, NOT skinning /.do I have to learn to use and create skins now? I'm assuming so? Also, I can't take the websites offline, is there a way to PRE-Configure pages and then add them together at the end?
3. I guess I have a third and final question (sure you are probably "sighing" by now, lol!)
I don't know much about caching or cookies but could that also help with performance online??
I thank you again Jon and will be an avid learner and reader of your clientapi threads!
