I just recently upgraded my site to DNN 4.4.1.  After doing that upgrade, which went without errors, when I try to post a new blog entry, the update link does nothing.  The link is:

WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(new WebForm_PostBackOptions("dnn:ctr376:EditEntry:cmdUpdate", "", true, "", "", false, true))

The only way I was able to get the new blog entry in was to copy the url for the cancel link, paste it into a text editor, and alter it like so:

__doPostBack('dnn$ctr376$EditEntry$cmdUpdate','

Then paste that into the address box on my browser, hit enter, then the new blog entry was accepted.

BTW, I'm using Firefox.

I do not know if this is it, but in your Host settings - if you are using compression, make sure to exclude webresource.axd .  This has caused similar issues with saving Admin settings.  Hope it helps.

Here's a little more info.    It works fine in IE, it's in FireFox where the problem appears.  I'll give Opera a try when I get to work tomorrow.

FYI - I use FF also and have no issues posting to my own blog in 4.4.1.  Strange issue.  Sorry I can't be of more help.
