Are you using Chris' What's New module on your homepage? If so, this may be your problem. I think the RSS feed gets updated by initiation of What's New as well as the main forum. If from the What's New module, this will cause the links to refer to the homepage. This problem is also true os the statistics information at the bottom of the main forum.

Hope this helps.

Roger

Stefano, (and anyone else w/ issues)

Please clarify where hte problem is.  There is the modules What's New (in its footer), the What's New module I wrote (you put on a seperate page), and the Sydication module action (in the drop down menu).  Any topics should include this in the discussion so we can pinpoint the issue faster.

Hi,
i cannot reach to find anothers words to explain what the problem is.
It is not related to What's New module, (i don't use it).

I'll try to be more clear !!!

I have a Forum Module on TabID 54.

If i use the RSS syndication feature exposed from the module, after a couple of days the RSS links point to the HOme page (TabID 68) instead of forum's TabID 54

http://www.edudotnet.it/Default.aspx?tabid=68

if i deselect and than reselect RSS setting under forum's configuration all works fine for a couple of days.

The standard DNN's RSS feed exposed on the right corner works fine everytime everywhere

i Can send to anyone my DB and DNN folders so that anyone can reproduce this behaviour.

For see it go to

http://www.edudotnet.it/Forum/tabid/54/Default.aspx

and go to the "News ..." forum.
http://www.edudotnet.it/Forum/tabid/54/forumid/3/scope/threads/Default.aspx

you will get an RSS feed that point to a wrong link.

Thanks again.

Stefano

Crispy,

I believe he is refering to the TabID problem mentioned in this thread earlier and not the What's new module from your site.  This link generated in the XML from his forum located on his TabID 54 links to TabID=68 which I think is a news and information page but doesn't contain a forums module.

I think you have mentioned that you fixed this in one of the other posts before this one and it will be in the next release.
