Hello Rodney and thank you,

After I do this and navigate to the Repository and click on a category I receive the following error;

"ERROR: UNABLE TO READ REPOSITORY HEADER TEMPLATE:"

Now when I change it back to the orginal setting and I continue to get the same error.

I've clear Host Cache.

At this time my repository is disabled with this error.

Any ideas?

Pat

An update.

I reinstalled the Respository module and it is working again (error after making a templat.xml edit).

I then re-uploaded the the edit Rodney recommended to the 'template.xml' file in the 'Templates/Directory' folder (I am using the directory template).

Even using 'Target/Self' as the Setting - when one clicks on the 'Visit' link a new brower window is opened. I cleared the Host/Cache and verified that the edits were indeed in the template.xml.

Is there any other place that this change needs to be made or is there any other place that the module uses to obtain instructions. It seems like no matter what I do - for me the Directory Template will open the link in a new broswer wndow.

Thanks,

Pat

The Setting for Target is either "NEW" or "SELF". Please note, that the values are case-sensitive and must be in CAPS.

However, the default settting is "SELF", so if the Target option is missing completely from the .xml file, the link will open in the same window.

Hey Steve,

Nice to have the Big Dog jump in- Thanks! I do appreciate what you and your team has done with this project.

Here is what I did prior to posting to the board and have done it again.

My settings for Download is;

  <Object>
    <Token>[DOWNLOAD]</Token>
  </Object>

No setting - planned on it using default.

However, it still opens the link in a new window. I was on point with Rodney's suggestion and used CAPS, without the desired outcome.

There seems to be something else at work here outside the template.xml file (which I actually delete prior to uploading an edited one).

Sadly when it is set to open to a new window many browser (and other) pop up blockers do not allow the window to be seen, so the user experience is to have the Respoistory page refreshed.

Any other ideas.

Pat
