SamboJambo,

I tried all that, but nothing seems to work. When i create a folder via the site, it isn't visible in my ftp client. When i create a map via ftp, it isn't visible in the filemanager.
Also not when i select diffrent folders: secure - db; secure - file system; standard file system.

And very strange, because other folders my client made (via the filemanger) are visible on the website and through ftp.

To leupold: i checked the log, but no entries about this problem.

Could it be a configuration "mistake"? so that the filemanger (asp user) can't access the filesystem correctly?

Thomas,

of course, the network acocunt needs read/write permission, at least read for displaying the folders. I am not sure, why the folders don't show up.

Cheers from Germany,

Where exactly are you trying to make the folders that you are not able to see?  is it possible that the path is just not 100% correct as typically if you can create folders in one area and see them you should be able to in another, that is unless there is a permissions issue but that should present an entry in the log.

Dear Mitchel,

You are right :), my ftp path wasn't the one the portal was using. The guy of the hosting copied the portal to a new location and just left the old one. So, when i contected with my ftp programm, i saw my old portal, without knowing it wasn't the right one.

Well, very stupid :), thx anyway!

I'm going to kick the hosting guy's ass ;-)
