ok i have visual studios 2005 and i just installed the dotnetnuke starter kit and i also unziped the install to the c:\ ... when i go into vs and i click new website i dont see dotnetnuke under the my templates.

you don't need to install/ unzip the install version. it's part of the starter kit. did the starter kit itselft install correctly?

I just intalled the starter kit and have exactly the same problem. The install looked like it worked correctly, but there is no template shown for dotnetnuke.Any idea why this might happen and how I can fix this?

Yeah same here. I installed it at home yesterday and it was fine. At work today and cant get template.

I did finally figure this out from reading a post in another forum where someone was having this problem. In my case I have vs.net 2005 setup for C# development and to see the template I had to select Visual Basic from the code type drop down on the new project creation window.
