I set the cache to 60 seconds.  Most of the time, the news feed connects succesfully.  However, when it does not connect successfully, it displays a blank page.  This blank page is then cached for 60 seconds, so no matter how many times the user refreshes his browser, it will still be blank.

I consider this a bug (because news feed should not cache the page when it is blank.)  I am new to this forum- is this the place to report a bug or is there another place I should post this?

Actually, DNN has an issue tracker system, which you can use.  It's the best place to report issues, look at the info on this page, and you can find the link to the issue tracker at the bottom.
