I am building my own module for DotNetNuke. I use DotNetNuke module template to create one module with 3 controls : View, Edit and Settings. When I add my module to Home page and I click the pencil icon to edit my module, the Edit control shows in another page. But I want the Edit control shows in the same page with the View control and it replaces the position of the View control. How can I do to solve this problem ?

I have read your article. I see that the MultiView control can't load one .ascx file into it as the PlaceHolder control. Now I have many View controls of many modules in Content Pane in Home page. I want when I click the pencil icon in one module to edit it, DotNetNuke navigates for me one page that has Left Pane, Right Pane, Top Pane and Bottom Pane like Home page but the Content Pane has only the Edit control for this module. How can you tell me the way to do ?

The article describes 4 methods. The first method is the one you are using. Either of the other three will do what you need.

Thanks for your help. I realize that :
- If I use PlaceHolder control, as you wrote in this article, each control is unaware of the status of other controls in the module and unable to read or modify their values directly. Moreover, the print function with the module doesn't work exactly when the PlaceHolder loads another control.
- If I use MultiView control, how can  I  load  3 controls : View, Edit, Settings to View1, View2, View 3 ? You can help me to solve this problem ?
- If I have two pages : Page 1 and Page 2 ( two pages are different) . I add my module to Page 1. I want when I click the pencil icon to edit the module, the Edit control of my module shows in the Content Pane of Page 2. You can tell me the way to do ?
