I have put the forum module on a few child portals now and this is the first time I have encounterd this problem. Users are not given posting rights, this is right now exclusive to Admins and SuperUsers but my other portals I have been able to Post as a new user without having to change any forum settings.
Where could this problem lay?

Thanks for the help

Mark Hollas

Ensure that in your forums module settings that you have granted edit permissions to the registered users role.

Thank you for the advice. I did make sure that the forum's settings allowed registered users to post, this did not change a thing. Registered users can not see the the following buttons: My Posts, My Settings, New Thread.
All the Registered user can see is: Search and Forum Home.

All my child portals seem to be like this but portal 0 is fine

Thanks again
