I'm using WinXP SP2, SQL Server 2000 Pro, DNN 4.3.1, Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.42; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.42 . I found this error. How can I resolve it? Thanks all.

Typically uninstalling and reinstalling ASP.NET will fix this issue.

To do this open a command prompt window and browse to the following folder.

windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\V2.0.50727\

Then run the following two commands the first will uninstall ASP.NET the second will reinstall it.

aspnet_regiis.exe -u

aspnet_regiis.exe -i
