I'm brand new to DNN. I've been asked to take over an existing site and my first task is to create a blog that allows users to search blog entries.

I read on a DNN website that the search module "...can be configured to search either one or several of the announcements, contacts, discussion, documents, HTML or Links modules on your site."

Blog module is not included in this list. Can the search module be configured to search blog entries? And if so, how is this done? When I add a search module to the blog page, I can't seem to get it to do anything. And the Administrator help files don't seem to present any useful instructions. How do I make the search module search the blog entries and send the results to a results module?

I would really appreciate any help with this.

Thanks.

Sean

I since learned that a search module is included with the blog "suite" when it is created. This module had been deleted before I became involved. So I was trying to add a stand alone search module. This particular problem has been resolved but I will post another question soon.
