I'm having problems getting DNN to run in my hosting environment.

I have done the install and the default "My website" portal failed to create.  I am now left with the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

I think this may have occurred due to ASPNET user permissions not being set, but now I cannot seem to rerun the install.  Is there a database flag that needs resetting?  I have tried removing the dnn.config file but this has not helped.

I solved this by deleting the entire database and starting again.  Not the cleanest way I'm sure, but it works now.

I have followed the installation readme.txt file instructions under the Documentation folder.

Next I browsed the default.aspx and the installation process began.

Installing DoNetNuke

Now, when I click the text to access my Portal, the following page appears.

Therefore, I searched and located a post that had the same problem.

One post said to make some changes to lines 80-92 in the Settings.aspx file.
I could not locate a Settings.aspx file that was greater than 40 lines or so.

So, I have tried deleting the database and starting over, this did not work.
I have tried different versions of DotNetNuke, this did not work.
I have erased everything and starrted over, this did not work.

I don't know what do do next.

Does anybody have any suggestions???

Thanks!
