Hi folks,

Can't believe I'm having to post this but I really can't get the solpartmenu to align right.  I'm using pure CSS so I suspect the way it gets rendered is killing my styles.  Please don't refer me to the manual - I have looked, honest.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Andy

Using tables largely defeats using CSS for layout which is what I'm trying to do.

Fair point, But in my experience, by the time you add a few dnn modules that normally are table based, your page will indeed have many tables.

have you tried putting in a div and see if you can align it to right.

Yep, I've tried right aligning the text in every conceivable style and using float:right in relevant containers all without success.  The soplartmenu seems to set a 100% width by default which is very irritating since you can't override it with a fixed width because of the admin and host links.  I'd also disagree with your point that DNN will add tables anyway once a few modules are on the page.  Since most content I use is rich text, so long as your containers are pure CSS there shouldn't be any tables (unless you're logged in and using admin).  I did this for a freebie - http://www.derbytrailblazers.com - without tables (I take no responsibility for the content).  Anyway, I think I'm in the realms of looking for a proprietary menu since I'm pushing the boundaries of the solpartmenu by wanting to right align it!
