We're looking to add functionality to the forum module, is there anyone on the forum who has done this before and would be willing to do this project?

Reverland,

Nope, not yet. It probably will be released by the team in the next couple of days. I thought they were waiting for the DNN 450 to release 1st and release the forum after that.  You can find a blog through the project page about the upcomming forum release. Also you can check the website on the new forum: www.dnnforums.com

Marc

Thanks Marc. We are pretty close, yes. The Beta period is closed, but general status of the beta itself is maintained on that seperate site to avoid confusion for users looking for support here on the current version. The Beta site is not to be used for support of the current version. This site should only be used by developers looking for more detailed information about the module itself, where the progress of it stands. It could also be viewed by users trying to get a hands of experience of the newer versions before they are released to help them decide when or if to implement the module in addition to the 'demo' theme capabilities which display how the module can look using various skins and/or custom forum themes.

In the future, designers will be given access to detailed information from a designer perspective on how to theme the forum module. This will be located on another site. Please note the site is not to take away from this site and is only for those who are interested in the module's development beyond bugs and feature requests.
