How do you fix this if you are using the DNN Starter Kit?  There is no Localization.vb file using the Starter Kit near as I can tell.

mfreidge,

I did as you suggested and I get the following.  Any additional thoughts?

Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Compiler Error Message: BC30456: 'InitializeCulture' is not a member of 'ASP.default_aspx'.

Just to clarify what I did to get the error in the previous post.  I compiled the source from DotNetNuke_4.0.2 after making the changes you suggested.  I then took the newly generate DotNetNuke.dll and copied it to the bin directory of my compiled instance on the web server.  I then attempted to navigate to the application in a browser, which generated the error I just posted.

Another thing I tried was to move the new DotNetNuke.dll into the bin directory of my project source (from the starter kit) and then recompile my project.  I get a whole slew of compile errors along the lines of ...

Error 1 Validation (XHTML 1.0 Transitional): Element 'html' is missing required attribute 'xmlns'. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\SRP\Default.aspx 4 2 http://localhost/SRP/

Any thoughts or ideas?

Validation XHTML errors can be safely ignored. You can temporary hide them in VS 2005 -untick Html validation "show errors" option in the IDE(tools/option/text editor/HTML/Validation).
