I know there are many of us wanting to know this.  I just don't want someone to be able to see the querystring in the browser history using the Iframe module.  Is there another way?  Could I use some type of XML?  Could I use some type of automatic form integration?  Is there a way to set an auto session variable?  Could I use the validated cookie that DNN uses on login? I just want it to be secure.  The web app that I am loading will be through the same site as DNN just in a different directory.

So my question is basically: What is the best method for remote application login security using an IFrame type interface.

Let me know what you think.

You would want to encrypt the querystring.  The remote app would then have to know how to decrypt it.

What would be the easyest way to do that?  Maybe I could do something like include the time and date in the string so it would make it really hard to break.  Let me know how you guys would do this.

Are you comfortable working with and recompiling the source code?

Yea, no problem.  If I did this, could it be added into a new build?
