Hi,

I'm preparing to upgrade from 4.4.1 to 4.5.1. I read the changelog on the new release and it says it now uses FCK editor provider as the default provider. I wonder how this affects my existing 4.4.1 with FCK editor provider installed?

When I copy the upgrade package over, will it override my existing FCK edidtor provider with a new version? What happens to my old FCKeditor configuration files? Can I still use them?

What happens to the web.config? Should I omit the old manual FCK entries?

Are there any other special notes for the upgrade from 4.4.1 to 4.5.1?

Thanks.

new fckeditor provider will replace existion one and the web.config changes are already included in web.config.

There might remain files from previous installation in the /providers/htmleditorproviders/fckhtmleditorprovider, you can savely delete after the upgrade. New files are installed  in the /providers/htmleditorproviders/fck.
