Hi, I used to have a problem that if I enabled DNN Search for a Calendar then my "What's New" module would just fill up with its events and they would never expire. So I switched off that option. However with version 03.03.07 of the Events module I had a calendar which I inadvertently set with this option on. Even though I have since switched the option off ,my "What's New?" module keeps showing only the events from that calendar. I have tried clearing the What's New? Cache and even deleting and re-inserting the What's New?  module but nothing seems to fix it.
Anyone else got the same problem?

I eventually deleted my calendar and re-inserted it and the problem was reduced in that the "What's new" list no longer fills up with every event, but every day at the top of the What's New I have an item with today's date and <not specified> as its description. I am fairly confident that this is coming from the Events module as I haven't changed anything else. Is anyone else using What's New and the new Events module and not having this problem? DNN 4.4.1 and 03.03.07 Events module.

Ta, John

The What's new module was removed from the core modules due to it's buggy state...

I would try to find some other solution / module for the future...

Thanks Timo, that's a shame - it was one of the modules that attracted me to DNN originally, I wonder if it will be resurrected.

Still, there are plenty of other good reasons to stick with DNN!

I agree it's nice way to save on editing time....
