Thanks for all the help anthony.

Anyone else reading this I got it to work by editing the DotNetNuke\Website\DesktopModules\Documents\module.css file, inserting the following:

 .DNN_Documents Table
{
  width: 170px;
}

You should move this to portal.css, otherwise it will be overwritten by the next upgrade.

PS:  Make sure you do a CRTL-F5 in Internet explorer after you make the change so that IE downloads the new CSS files.

Hi there,

my issue seems somewhat related.

Since I have upgraded to 4.5.x all my pages which are using a fullwidth skin don't really cover 100% of the screen real-estate as they used to do prior to 4.5.x.
So for example I only have a module in the center pane and the left and right panes are empty. Naturally I would want the center pane to cover the whole page but it seems as if the left and right pane (even though they are empty) still cover (or reserve?) some significant space.
Judging from various posts about this from other users in this forum I figure that apparently I am not the only one with that problem.

However so far no one has come up with a fix or some ideas on how to manually resolve this problem.

I hope some of you guys has some insight for me! :-)

If you are using the default "DNN-Blue" or 'DNN-Gray' skins then the "LeftPane" & "RightPane" are set to a fixed "width:175px" in the skin.css. Change this to "width:0%" if you do not want them to have a fixed width.

I think this blog might give you more insight as well. There are changes to the default skins that stop the left and right pane from collapsing.

It's not a documents module issue from what I am reading.  I could be wrong but there are others with similar issues.
