Hi my documents module is not filling the width of the left pane that it is in.  I'm only showing the title column and have tried several other settings to get the witdth to fill, but I just can't figure it out.  The only thing that seems to work is lenthening the name of the title.  Above the documents module is a links module which fills more horizontal space than the documents module below it.  What gives?

Thanks,

Jon

You can control the width of the documents module with CSS.  To make the table use "100%" of the available space, use:

  .DotNetNuke_Documents TABLE {width: 100%}

You can also use CSS to control individual column sizes, for example:

  .DotNetNuke_Documents .TitleCell {width: 400px}

FYI:  There's a little bit more info on formatting here:  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/TID/1533/cid/18/Default.aspx

Which css file should i use?

  1. DesktopModules\Documents\module.css
  2. Portals\_default\Containers\[mycontainer]\container.css
  3. Portals\_default\Skins\[myskin]\skin.css

I've actually tried all three and couldn't get it to work.  I also noticed that the module.css is showing .DNN_Documents for the TD element as opposed to .DotNetNuke_Documents for the Table element suggested above.  Which is right?

Css File:  I write a blog about this a while ago, should explain which CSS file to use:  http://www.inventua.com/blogs.content?EntryID=6

As for your other question:  .DotNetNuke_Documents TABLE and .DotNetNuke_Documents TD are both valid.  .DotNetNuke_Documents TABLE means "a table element inside an element with a CLASS of .DotNetNuke_Documents.
