Hello, I'm using DNN3 and was wondering if there is a way to customize the SolPartMenu to keep track of the menu item selected.  For example, all my links in the main navigation are black.  But when a user clicks on one of the links, I want that link to turn Orange and to remain that color until another link is clicked.  Can anyone help?  Thanks

There is a free skin on my site at www.salaro.com that does exactly that. It is done in HTML and just study the skin.xml and the menu part of skin.css and by changing the colours and font sizes you should be able to achieve your objective.

Salar,

Thanks, I've downloaded your free skin, but it doesn't maintain the selected state.  For Example, if I click on a link called "About Us", i would like that link to remain a different color from the other links even when my mouse is not over the link.

You might also look at the active classes that are possible with the skins. I have about 20 or so free skins on my site as well, but there is on in particular - DesignAway that has an example of the active classes using the solpart menu that allows for different colours of menus depending upon the state.

This might be another site to consider.

It must be my bad english -  If you go to skins.salaro.com that shows the skin and click on the about us link then you see it will go white and remain white whilst the rest are dark blue.

It the moment Crystal skin has this

.rootmenuitem TD{
    color:#465887;
}
.rootmenuitemselected TD,.rootmenuitembreadcrumb TD{
    color:#FFF;
}

you could also seperate the last to have a different rootmenuitembreadcrumb TD colour to rootmenuitemselected TD
