I did some research about this and only found a possible bug with malformed html.

So the question is: Where is your content originated?... an external source (Copy/paste)? or you built all from the scratch?

This not seems to be a problem with the provider. Maybe this is something going on with the editor itself. So you can search more about this here:

Thanks for the response locopon.  I'm making this from scratch, I think it is the editor itself too.  I went to http://dev.fckeditor.net/report and serched the tickets and found some similar to my issues.  I guess I will just have to deal with this ridiculous (at least to me) problem.  If I hear anything about it, I will definitely post it.

About the text being enclosed in a P tag. This is the normal way it works. and it makes sense to me (Those are paragraphs and you can make it look as you wish by settings CSS styles for the P tag)

Set FCKConfig.EnterMode = 'br', that way the content isn't moved into a block container. 

You must modify the fckconfig.js file inside the Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck\Custom folder

Note: Remember to clear the DNN cache and your browser cache after modifying the fckconfig.js file

Thank you locopon!!!!!  You might have very well saved my lilfe :)  That works great.  I know that you can set styles for the <p> tags, but I would rather not have to since I have other <p> tags throughout the rest of the site, and I don't want them to behave the same way.  Anyway, this is perfect, I appreciate the help very much!!
