Hi,

I had my dotnetnuke website version 4.3.7 working on my PC, however when i tried to move it to live server it gave me this following error (http://arvelgroup.com/). I have followed the steps given in this blog (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?TabId=825&EntryID=1293) except for the second part which is moving the database. My colleage had configured the database for the dotnetnuke 4.5.1 on that server and i thought i could have just used that database and had configured the web.config to use that database. Could someone help me with this. thank you.

please note, that the database version needs allways to meet installed file version, except during an upgrade, where installed file versions can be newer. If you want to move a site having 4.3.7 to a server, where an upgraded version is installed, you need to upgrade before. Please notice as well, that most of your content and settings is saved in your database and needs to be transferred with the files.
