Hi !

I have searched this forum, but the search engine doesn't actually find anything even if it's there ( i guess it's bugged ). I tried to put words that I've seen in some topics, and nothing has been found. So this search engine is USELESS.

My alternative is asking here, so sorry if someone has already asked before.

I'm trying to add two tokens at the same page, and also have each XML configurations for each one.

I tried everything but nothing really works.

If I have a token named TOKENX , and in HTML skin zip, add two instances, like having [TOKENX:1] [TOKENX:2]

and in the XML i have two <objects token[TOKEN] /token> with, lets say, display=vertical, and the other like [TOKEN2] with display=horizontal.

the first token will receive the XML configurations and look like

<dnn:TOKENX2 runat="server" id="dnnTOKENX2" display="vertical">

, but the second one, will just look like

<dnn:TOKENX2 runat="server" id="dnnTOKENX2">
and nothing else.

It's seem that the second instance is not reading the XML at all.

I don't want to edit the final ASCX file, so if you come with this idea, that's NOT MY POINT. I need to know how to pass the second token instance name to the XML for it actually know that it have to read it too.

for the HTML's [TOKEN:2] - using in xml [TOKEN2] didn't work.

Anyone have an idea for the right sintax ? Is that really possible?

THANKS !!
