Well, I think I finally have the Wiki Module running on an external site. I'll get the security setup this weekend so that I can start having people hit the site and make changes. I'll post again when I have that site setup for public access.

When will we be able to test drive this Wiki prototype ? Has there been any talks about whether it will be developed from the ground up (taking inspiration from this prototype) or it will be build upon the prototype ?

The plan is to have a prototype running for public consumption this weekend. From there I'll have to go through some core issues and see about a release. At the point of a release I'll be working on a roadmap for bugs and modifications to this current implementation. I don't forsee a complete ground up path, more of a refactoring process of the existing code with the project team I'm gathering developers for.

Pardon me for saying that, but there is a lot of "I" in what you just said, wasn't it supposed to be open for consultation, ie the prototype would only be here for people to discuss about, ie functionality present/missing strategy, etc. ? Aren't a team of developers also supposed to have opinions ?

Yes, but as Project lead I am personally trying to get the module to a starting point for the team based development.
