I logged onto one my sites today to make some changes and the Rich Text Editor had disappeared. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thanks for any help you may have to offer.

The above was my original submission...I have since gone in and reloaded the Text/HTML Module for DNN 3.1.1 hoping that would take care of the situation...it did not...I also tried uploading the FCKeditor and I get this error message:

Failure Did not find any .dnn file ???
Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: File load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.ReadZipStream() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Does anyone have any ideas why the Rich Text Editor Tool Bar has just vanished?

Whilst the Text Editor has dissappeared is the content that was loaded using the text editor still there?

The FCKeditor is a providor not a module so it has to be installed differently.  Do you know if you were using this providor before? It isn't the default for DNN 3.1.1

Try logging in as host and editing some text that would normally bring up the text editor then going to Admin|Log viewer and see if there are any log entries that were just recorded and let us know what they are.

The FCKHtmlEditorProvider is not a module. You must unzip the package you downloaded and follow the instructions you will find inside. Don't try to install it as a module because it is not a module...it is a "Provider"

Viewing the site, the content is still there. When I go to the edit section, the content shows up as HTML code. Actually it is the Tool Bar for the Text Editor that has dissapeared. 

I thought I had uploaded the FCKeditor to this site previously...but maybe not. I'll verify that. I know that I have uploaded it to another site...works just fine in that site.

Will also do as you suggested and try to edit some text and then look at the Admin/Log Viewer.
