Hi Sebastian:

Yes Java is enabled and my privacy settings are medium.  I have made no changes from when I was able to work everything well on DNN 4.0.3 before I upgraded.  I only upgraded becasue of issues of speed but find that both DNN 4.4.1 and DNN 4.5.1 have caused problems after upgrade.

this sounds like a severe issue, is there anything logged in the event log (see admin menu)?

Hi  - No nothing in the event log.

I think it is really odd as basically the site works from a browser point of view.  Just can't make changes to it.

I guess I have to be resigned to the fact that the upgrade doesn't work.

Thanks

Ron

Dear Sebaastian:

Do you know if anyone has posted a solution to the upgrade problem to 4.5.3 that results in a site that is browser OK but which, in admin or host mode (EDIT) won't upgrade?  And once logged in you can't logout?

Thanks

Ron Wiegand
