1) you can create a database and database user to use sql2000/2005 connection string or you can use /app_data/database.mdf, that ships with DNN to use file based SQL Express string, but in the second case make sure not to touch the database with any other tool (please refer to Shawn McCulloch's Blog here on DNN com how to access .mdf files).

2) yes

3) this will be provided by the wizard in default mode, in auto mode, you will need to modify it, if you don't use .mdf file as described in 1) above

4) I prefer installation package, there is also the installer utility, that is unfortunately currently not available for latest version and there is "DNNonadisk" from www.effority.net, that installs DNN like any windows application on your local pc.

Prehaps  i could ask

if i am in stalling Dot Net Nuke 4.5.1 starter package,

1) do i need to make a data base or will the program do it

2) do i need to set IIS

3) web config strings, do i need to do any thing

4) what is the easiest way of getting DNN in any format on to a computer
