Just getting ready to transfer my local version of DNN to a web host and have noticed that the database is 173 mb and the wholw folder is 220mb.  Or it is a large site of around 70 pages but should it be this big.

 

Any ideas

clear out log data from  Site log, event log, scheduler history.

Thanks but how do i do that

My dnn application suggests that my hosting provider has disabled the site log.  I have looked and it appears that i had told it to store only one days worth anyway

and my event viewer is even worse

timeout can be due to too many entries. Check this out from host :: SQL menu item by executing (not as script)
select count(*) as EntryCount from {objectQualifier}eventlog

Yes 15000 entries.  I have tried to delete the entries in solutions explorer in VS but that time out on only one record.  ill have to see if i can get in to the database through sql express manager.
